Institute for Response-Genetics (e.V.)

The «Institute for Response-Genetics (IFRG)» has been established in 2006 to provide an international platform for the following research topics: (1) hereditary vulnerability and resilience factors in major psychiatric disorders; (2) prediction of therapeutic response in the individual patient; (3) prediction of adverse effects under antidepressants and antipsychotics; and (4) early detection and prevention of mental health problems. IFRG’s seal shows the Latin motto «scientia augenda – aegroti curandi» along with a balance in equilibrium, thus underlining IFRG’s commitment to both the advancement of knowledge and the benefit of patients.
